One Day in Data Science

You will play a crucial role in shaping the future of Data Science at Teva. In this challenging function, you will be contributing to the success of the digital transformation with the mission to help our business units to identify and develop strategic data-driven use case opportunities. Within your team you will help to support, develop, and implement the desired state of predictive and prescriptive analysis in relevant easy-to-use front ends & core applications. You will help the stakeholders with technical questions as well as with the implementation of their requirements in concrete specifications for the data solutions taking consideration of the data quality.

• You will lead, coordinate, and execute global applied data science projects by developing & implementing data science solutions (e. g. by applying statistical methods, operations research, artificial intelligence, machine learning or deep learning) & optimizing/automating data-driven processes
• You will use data science methods to interpret key insights from enterprise data and translate those insights into initiatives (with million ROI) that support business outcomes
• You will open new perspectives on complex data challenges (e .g. in the Tender area) and decision-making processes through new applied data science technologies, algorithms, and a data-driven approach
• You will collaborate with leaders (transformation leads in the markets & other leaders from global digital) across the business to support and implement high-value, E2E data-driven solutions
• You will support in the different phases of a data science project (starting with business & data understanding, data engineering, model engineering & integration to business) in cooperation with IT and the business
• You will work on the evolution of the data landscape by the development & management of data pipelines, data quality checks and a commercial data model  
• You help establishing a data-driven culture at Teva

Who are we looking for?

Are you

• A creative thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving skills, a proactive mindset and an eye for detail
• Customer-oriented and have an open-minded way of working 
• Skilled to collaborate and work in a global, multicultural matrix environment 
• An excellent communicator, both written and verbal

Do you have

• An university degree with an analytical focus (e.g. data science, mathematics, (business) informatics, software engineering, chemistry, physics or similar)
• 3+ years of working experience in the data environment
• Proven experience in applying data engineering & data science methods
• Very good programming skills (preferably in R, Shiny, Python, SQL & VBA or similar) 
• Experience in stakeholder management and conflict resolution skills, especially in projects
• Fluent in English and German
