We’re seeking a skilled Data Analyst to join a leading company in the sports industry and help turn complex data into actionable insights. This is a full-time, on-site position based in Caracas, Venezuela, with some flexibility for hybrid work.

- Contract Type: Full-time
- Work Schedule: 40 hours per week
- Location: Caracas, Venezuela
- Language Requirement: Advanced English proficiency (C1) is a plus
- Modality: On-site (open to hybrid flexibility)
Responsibilities
- Data Services Development: Support the creation of internal and client-facing data solutions.
- Sabermetrics Reporting: Design and develop reports related to baseball statistics and performance metrics.
- Dashboard Design: Build dashboards using Power BI and Data Studio, applying UX/UI best practices.
- Power BI Implementation: Lead the implementation of Power BI and establish its connection with Google BigQuery.
- Database & Cloud Management: Oversee analytics virtual machines and cloud databases.
- API Implementation & Maintenance: Implement, maintain, and update APIs across platforms.
- Data Analysis & Insights: Extract actionable insights from reports to optimize client strategies.
- Data Accuracy & Troubleshooting: Analyze and correct discrepancies between platforms.
Minimum Requirements
- Up to 2 years of experience in data analysis or a related field.
- Proficiency in SQL, R, and data visualization tools like Power BI and Data Studio.
- Experience with Google BigQuery, GCP, Spreadsheets, and the Shiny framework (R).
- Familiarity with Postman and API-based data integrations.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Passion for working with data to drive real-world decisions.
Preferred Skills
- Proficiency in Python, with a focus on data management.
- Interest or experience in the sports industry.
- Previous experience working in banking or finance-related environments.
- Basic knowledge of DAX and business metric tracking.
- English proficiency.
