The Opportunity

What you'll do

You’ll lead the charge in defining and delivering our data strategy, from operational layers to warehousing and visualisation. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams, both onsite and remote, to design scalable solutions that make a real impact. Whether it’s removing roadblocks for development teams, introducing new technologies, or translating specs into actionable designs, you’ll be at the heart of how we evolve our data platform.

  • Build and evolve target data architecture using best practices and stakeholder input

  • Collaborate, connect, and agree with cross-functional teams onsite and remotely to deliver scalable solutions

  • Initiate and implement new technologies and proof-of-concepts to drive innovation

  • Produce detailed specifications and translate them into actionable designs

About You

You’re someone who sees the big picture and knows how to bring it to life. You’ve got deep expertise in Azure data architecture and a knack for turning strategy into seamless delivery.

  • Provide technical expertise in Azure data architecture, ensuring a seamless approach from strategy through transition to the delivery stage

  • You know how to collaborate with DBAs, governance teams, and stakeholders to build a roadmap that’s not just future-proof, but future-ready.

  • Design and implement solutions that facilitate knowledge sharing and enhance technical skills within development teams by promoting best practices in data retrieval and storage.

  • Collaborate and connect key stakeholders building out the roadmap for the future of data platform supporting them throughout the process

  • Experience in financial services or fintech is a bonus, but what really matters is your ability to connect, lead, and deliver.
