Job Description

Your contribution to something big:

  • Establish and demonstrate a service-oriented and data-driven mindset in your working environment.
  • Develop and maintain high-quality, reusable data models using UML, RDFs, and SHACL.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders from specialist non-IT domains to understand business requirements and translate them into effective glossaries, taxonomies, ontologies, and data models.
  • Utilize state-of-the-art modeling tools like "TopBraid Enterprise Data Governance" and "Enterprise Architect".
  • Conduct data analysis and profiling to ensure data quality and integrity, addressing and resolving any concerns.
  • Provide guidance and support to other team members on data modeling and data architecture best practices.

Qualifications

What distinguishes you:

  • Completed master's degree in computer science or a related field with relevant specializations.
  • Profound knowledge and experience in semantic data integration (e.g., Data Warehouse, Knowledge Graphs) and ETL processes (e.g., mappings, transformation rules, performance considerations).
  • Ability to understand and model domain data according to standards.
  • Experience in requirements gathering and analysis in the field of data modeling, especially within a cross specialist domain context.
  • Experience and knowledge in building proof of concept solutions using Python and/or SQL, SPARQL, GraphQL.
  • Experience with UX methods is a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills, resilience, and an analytical and conceptual approach.
  • Excellent English skills, both written and spoken
