Job Summaryย
As a Level 3 Critical Facility Engineer, you will perform semi-routine preventative and corrective maintenance on non-critical facility components. You will assist senior staff, coordinate with vendors, and support incident management activities.ย
Responsibilitiesย
ย Facility/Infrastructure Maintenanceย
Performs semi-routine maintenance checks on non-critical facility components
Monitors the Building Monitoring System (BMS) and responds to semi-routine alarms
Assists senior staff in higher facility repairs and maintenance
Vendor Supportย
Coordinates with vendors to ensure maintenance activities meet Equinix's standards
Supports the work order approval process for routine maintenance work
Site Administration & Incident Supportย
Performs semi-routine site logs for permits
Uses job skills to follow operating procedures for on-site administration
Work Orders & Additional Projectsย
Completes semi-routine work requests and circuit installations
Assists senior staff with on-site incidentsย
Collaborationย
Collaborates with others to resolve semi-routine facility incidents
Assists senior staff on infrastructure projects
Qualifications
Experience in facility maintenance
Good knowledge of German and English
Ability to coordinate with vendors and follow standard operating procedures
Good problem-solving and incident support skills
Willingness to work 24/7 shifts
