Trusting Social is an AI Fintech pioneer that's revolutionizing credit access in emerging markets. Our mission is "Advancing AI to Meet the Financial Needs of Everyday Consumers with Empathy." We've assessed over 1 billion consumers across four countries, and we're on a mission to provide 100 million credit lines using the power of AI and Big Data.

How You'll Make an Impact

The Data Protection team is a core sub-team of the Information Security Department, working closely with IT GRC, Security Operations, DevSecOps, Engineering, Product, Legal, HR, and business teams.Β The team plays a critical role in ensuring that Trusting Social protects sensitive data responsibly while enabling innovation across AI, data, and digital products. The team is responsible for:

  • Protecting sensitive data, including PII and SPI, through modern controls, advanced solutions, and practical engineering techniques.
  • Driving compliance with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and local data protection laws across the markets where we operate.
  • Leading and strengthening AI Data Protection domains, including privacy controls for AI systems, data leakage prevention, model-related data risks, and security controls for AI agents and automation workflows.

This role is ideal for someone who is interested in building the future of privacy operations through AI, automation, and engineering-driven controls, rather than relying only on traditional manual processes. We are looking for someone who can help transform legacy privacy and data protection work into scalable, high-efficiency systems that reduce manual workload, improve detection speed, and accelerate response time.

What You'll Do

  • Support the design and implementation of data protection controls to safeguard sensitive data, including PII, SPI, confidential business data, and AI-related datasets.
  • Help develop and improve AI-powered and automation-based approaches to reduce manual workload, increase operational efficiency, and enable the team to scale its impact significantly beyond traditional human-driven methods.
  • Support the use of AI, machine learning, and automation tools to classify data, detect sensitive information, identify privacy risks, correlate findings, and prioritize evidence or incidents more efficiently than legacy approaches.
  • Assist in building or operating data discovery, data classification, data mapping, and data leakage prevention (DLP) capabilities across endpoints, cloud platforms, collaboration tools, storage platforms, and internal applications.
  • Participate in Privacy by Design and Data Protection by Design activities for new systems, products, and AI-enabled services.
  • Help define and improve controls for AI Data Protection, including protection of training data, prompt data, output handling, access controls, data retention, and monitoring for misuse or unintended exposure.
  • Support detection and response processes related to data leakage incidents, including internal leakage, external exposure, misconfiguration risks, and abnormal data movement patterns.
  • Continuously explore and monitor emerging trends, attack techniques, regulatory developments, and new technologies related to privacy engineering, AI security, AI data protection, and data leakage prevention.

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Security, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Fresh graduates or junior candidates with strong interest in data protection, privacy engineering, AI security, and automation are encouraged to apply.
  • Interest in protecting PII, SPI, and regulated data across modern systems and cloud environments.
  • Interest in using AI, scripting, and automation to improve operational efficiency and reduce manual effort.
  • Basic knowledge of one or more scripting or automation tools such as Python, SQL, PowerShell, Bash, or low-code/no-code automation platforms is a plus.
  • Good communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work across technical and non-technical teams.
  • Eagerness to learn, take ownership, and contribute to a fast-moving and innovation-driven environment.

What We Offer

Join our vibrant team and enjoy:

  • Competitive compensation, including 13th-month salary and performance bonuses.
  • Comprehensive health careΒ for you and your dependents.
  • Generous leave policiesΒ and flexible work hours.
  • Convenient District 1 office location (next to a metro station).
  • Onsite lunch with multiple options.
  • Grab for work allowance and fully equipped workstations.
  • FunΒ team-building activities, sponsored sports clubs, and Thursday happy hours.
  • Unlimited free coffee, tea, snacks, and fruit.
  • A chance to make a profoundΒ social impactΒ by democratizing credit access in emerging markets.
