As a Database Administrator you will: 

• Database Performance & Optimization: Monitor, optimize, and troubleshoot SQL Server databases for peak performance, security, and reliability. 
• Database Design & Architecture: Design and maintain schemas, data models, and database structures to support business requirements. 
• Administration & Maintenance: Manage backup and recovery, security policies, and high-availability configurations. 
• Data Migration & Integrity: Develop and execute migration strategies that prioritize data integrity and consistency, ensuring smooth transitions between database systems and versions while preventing data loss or discrepancies. 
• Security & Compliance: Implement database security best practices, including encryption, access control, and auditing. 
• Collaboration & Innovation: Work with development and business teams to optimize database solutions and recommend emerging Microsoft technologies. 

• 3+ years of experience as a DBA specializing in Microsoft SQL Server, including SSRS. SSMS and SSIS. 
• Strong expertise in query optimization, performance tuning and SQL development. 
• Experience with indexing strategies, data modeling and schema design. 
• Hands-on experience optimizing database models, including structure, triggers, stored procedures, and functions, to enhance performance. 
• Familiar with data migration, integration, and ETL workflows.
• Familiarity with Azure Data Services and cloud-based solutions (Azure SQL, Power Automate, etc.).
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills, with a focus on troubleshooting database-related issues and continuously improving performance. 
• Understanding of high availability and disaster recovery strategies. 
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate across departments. 

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with automation and scripting (PowerShell, T-SQL). 
• Knowledge of cloud and hybrid database environments.
