Lead Assistant Manager-Data Management and Analytics-Business Intelligence

Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented ETL cum BI Engineer with strong expertise in Tableau and Databricks to maintain, optimize, and enhance our reporting infrastructure. This role focuses on dashboard upkeep, data flow management, and enabling new analytical capabilities across multiple regions and business units. The ideal candidate will ensure high data accuracy, reliability, and availability for recurring reporting requirements.

Key Role and Responsibilities

Dashboard Maintenance & Optimization

• Maintain and troubleshoot existing Tableau dashboards to ensure accuracy, performance, and reliability.
• Oversee active dashboards used for recurring reporting, ensuring they remain current and aligned with stakeholder needs.
• Enhance existing dashboards by introducing new filters, drilldowns, and visual elements based on feedback.
• Add and integrate economic impact data and expand scorecard views for more comprehensive insights.
• Build and integrate new benchmarks, including: Regional Benchmarks, International Benchmark (excluding US) and Global Benchmark views.

Data Flow & Enablement

• Ensure successful and timely data uploads and transformations across systems — from SurveyMonkey → Databricks → Tableau.
• Monitor and update mapping tables as needed to reflect data changes or new business logic.
• Optimize data structures and schemas within Databricks to support efficient reporting and analytics.
• Develop and maintain mapping documentation for survey answer options, ensuring clear traceability and version control.
• Modify and enhance mapping logic to support new data views, metrics, or filters.

New Development

• Create new Tableau dashboards for specific stakeholder groups and international geographies
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to translate reporting requirements into scalable data solutions and visualizations.
• Support data quality checks, pipeline monitoring, and ETL troubleshooting to ensure consistent data delivery.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, or related field.
• 3–6 years of experience in BI development, ETL, or data analytics roles.
• Proven experience with Tableau (dashboard design, data source management, performance optimization).
• Proficiency in Databricks, SQL, and data transformation for reporting and analytics.
• Understanding of data modeling and reporting best practices (star/snowflake schema, data lineage, etc.).
• Experience managing data pipelines from external sources such as SurveyMonkey or similar survey platforms.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously

Preferred Qualifications and Skills

• Familiarity with Delta Lake, PySpark, or other distributed data processing tools.
• Knowledge of data governance, metadata documentation, and version control (Git).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail in data accuracy and consistency.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to partner with business and technical stakeholders across regions.
• Prior experience in sports, gaming and entertainment industries
