RBI, a leading financial institution in Austria and CEE, is dedicated to integrating environmental, social, and governance (ESG) considerations into both our risk management and our service offering. We are seeking a part-time student to join our ESG Data Collection team. You will play a vital role in the collection and preparation of ESG data. Exploratory data analyses will complement your job role. In addition, our team has a special focus on solutions around the EU Taxonomy and physical risk data.

  • ESG Data Collection: Support extract data from sustainability reports and support the data pipeline to risk management, business steering, and regulatory reporting (e.g., our CSRD report or our EU Taxonomy disclosure)
  • Reporting & Documentation:β€―Assist in creating and maintaining reports and process documentations (e.g., internal policies, …)
  • Coordination: Support colleagues related to ESG data across RBI’s CEE network
  • Innovation & Development:β€―Support senior team members in further developing the ESG data collection tools and processes. Be proactive in bringing new, innovative ideas to improve our data availability

Your core competencies

Β 

  • Ongoing studies in business administration, economics, environmental science, mathematics, physics, or a related field
  • Basic understanding of ESG concepts and related regulations preferred (e.g. the EU Taxonomy, Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive – CSRD)
  • Excellent command of English; German is an advantage
  • Solid MS Office skills, especially in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Basic AI literacy in tools like ChatGPT, Claude or Copilot
  • Basic knowledge of Python and/or Power BI is a plus
  • Independent, structured working styleΒ
