Overview: Under the supervision of the Assistant of Data & Reporting, the Data & Evaluation Manager will support the Adolescent Health Center and the Counseling Center in maintaining the eClinicalWorks system, generating funder reports, training staff on data governance best practices, implementing new technology solutions, and other data tasks. The Manager will act as a dedicated liaison between the Health and Counseling Center and the Data and Program Evaluations team; actively seeking opportunities for programmatic innovation through technology and analytics.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the data reporting portfolio for the Adolescent Health Center and Counseling Center; prepare data for internal performance management, funder reports and grant proposals.
- Establish a data driven culture within the Adolescent Health Center and Counseling Center; use analytics to assist Program Director(s) and managers in developing and monitoring programmatic outcomes and strategy goals.
- Develop data quality and governance mechanisms and documentation to ensure service delivery is in compliance with contract and systems requirements.
- Ensure data is entered in an accurate and timely manner by building dashboards and other data monitoring tools and systems; train staff on data governance best practices.
- Use technology to drive efficiency within the program; assist in implementing eCW system enhancements.
- Serve as an administrator for the clinicβs electronic health record (eClinicalWorks), reporting system (eBO), and other data systems as needed; ensure eCW and eBO upgrades are done in timely manner; provide ongoing trainings to staff on data entry and reporting best practices.
- Use technology to drive efficiency within the clinic; assist in implementing EHR system enhancements.
- Work with program staff to ensure data is entered in an accurate and timely manner; build monthly dashboards and other data monitoring tools and following up with staff about data entry.
- Participate as a member of a team of data specialists to build out agency-wide data standards and data model; serve as the agency expert on data related to the Adolescent Health Center and Counseling team.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- 3+ yearsβ experience managing data in non-profit setting (for Health-related programs preferred)
- Experience analyzing data related to healthcare service delivery; comfort translating complex data concepts to staff and presenting findings in meetings to advocate for programmatic improvements
- Experience administering electronic health records required, eClinicalWorks experience preferred
- Experience with government and performance-based contract management for human services organizations
- Experience administering databases required, Salesforce experience highly preferred
- Experience with Business Intelligence software such as Tableau or PowerBI
- Advanced Excel skills
- Intermediate SQL skills preferred
- Familiarity with service design / human centered design concepts
- Experience analyzing data related to program delivery; capable of translating complex data concepts to non-technical staff; comfortable presenting findings in meetings to advocate for programmatic improvements
- Ability to collaborate with staff at all technological skill levels to implement system enhancements, train on new technology solutions, and follow-up on data entry best practices
- Knowledge of local, state and federal reporting requirements, which may include UDS, PCMH, HEDIS, FPAR, AIRS
- Some knowledge of Medicaid/billing/financial reporting
- Demonstrated understanding of the principles of positive youth development
- Ability to maintain close attention to detail in a fast-paced environment while adhering to competing deadlinesΒ Β
Hours: Monday through Friday, 35 hours per week, occasional evening and weekend hours as needed
Salary: $70,000 - $75,000 annuallyΒ
